You can replace the avocado with silken tofu, hummus or white beans but these substitutions will change the flavor and texture profile.
Storing
Best if used within 1 day of making. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 2 days. After 2 days the avocado may start to turn color due to the oxidation process.

Plant-based yogurt are much more available today. ALWAYS READ THE LABELS. Some are using nuts which can make them higher in calories. Some add lots of sugar and salt. Some even use plant-based oils. I love the Culina brand as its ingredients are organic coconut, agar, and probiotic cultures. That’s it! And while it is coconut-based, it doesn’t taste it. Here is the label from their site for the plain-based flavor used in this recipe. (NOTE: I am not an affiliate of the Culina products. This opinion is my own after having purchased, tasted, and thrown out so very many other brands.)
Lime Avocado Creme
Equipment
- High speed Blender
Ingredients
- 1 medium avocados about 1 cup
- 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
- 1/2 cup Plant-based Plain yogurt Culina brand works best
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic granules
- 1/4 teaspoon salt or to taste
- 1/8 teaspoon white pepper or to taste
- 5 sprigs cilantro for garnish
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients in a food processor or blender until smooth.
- Taste to adjust seasonings to your preference.
- store in an airtight container.
- For best flavor, refrigerate the Lime Avocado Creme for about 1 hour to allow the flavors to meld together. This step is optional but recommended.
- Serve the Fresh Peach Pico de Gallo as a refreshing salsa alongside crispy tortilla chips, or use it as a topping for grilled vegetables, tacos, or salads.
